Ambassador Terms & Conditions (T&C’s)

We, Londonist DMC Ltd (‘the Company, we, us, our’) will receive photos and videos that you publish on our Londonist Ambassador App ("the App"). We would like to inform you that these photos and videos will appear on our website, in our promotional materials or on social media platforms. We may edit or otherwise change any photos and videos uploaded by you on our Ambassador Application, but only in a reasonable way. We consider ourselves the “Controller” of this personal data and will ensure that we and any third parties, with whom it is necessary to share this data for the above purpose, comply with the relevant data protection legislation.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions mentioned below and in return for submitting your photos or videos under the Londonist Ambassador Programme:

• You agree to the use and storage of the photos and videos uploaded by you to us as set out in this T&C’s; and
• You agree that we may pass any photos or videos published by you to any company that helps us with our marketing materials and the Londonist Ambassador App; and
• You confirm you know that photos and videos are available worldwide once they are published on the internet and may be downloaded or used by anyone, and you agree that we are not responsible for any unauthorised use of photos or videos uploaded by you.

Rights afforded to you, under the relevant data protection legislation, are not impeded by the signing of this release form.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and any dispute over it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you're joining us in an agreement based on your participation and the help you're giving us. In return, we've agreed to give you certain benefits. We've listed these benefits below because we want to thank you for following the rules we've set and for being a part of this. Once you agree to these Terms and Conditions it becomes an official agreement between you and us, showing that we both understand and agree to everything written here.

You can only redeem points if you are currently staying with Londonist and are not in breach of the terms of your licence agreement.

Details of Consideration: We will be providing you points that can be redeemed against additional services through the Londonist Ambassador App. These services may include, but are not limited to, airport transfer services, cleaning services, electronic and kitchen appliances, bedding, and bathroom products. Once your content has been verified by a member of our team, these points will appear on the app’s portal. You will then be able to redeem these against additional services.

How to earn and redeem points:

a) There is a pool of tasks to complete in the App.

b) Each task has a different point allocation.

c) Students can pick any task they wish.

d) Students can see the task details, description and points they can earn from it.

e) After fulfilment and submission of their tasks, a member from our team will verify and approve the submitted task.

f) The earned points will be added to the student’s ambassador application wallet.

g) Students can redeem these points (these points will be allocated to the ‘Student Portal’ account)

h) These points are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be used to buy additional services, products, bus tickets, train tickets or any other service provided on student portal subject to available service or product at the time of redemption at Londonist’s ecosystem.

By agreeing to Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you have read and understood this form; and you consent to the processing of your personal data, as outlined above.
