On Thursday, the 25th September, Londonist DMC were delighted to welcome the Deputy Lieutenant of Camden, Roxane Zand, to our London office for a very special occasion: the official presentation of The King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
The King’s Award is the highest recognition a UK business can achieve, celebrating organisations that have demonstrated outstanding success in international trade, innovation, sustainability, and promoting opportunity. In her presentation, Ms Zand congratulated Londonist on its achievements and presented the award on behalf of His Majesty The King.
Speaking at the event, our Founder and CEO expressed the team’s pride in reaching this milestone: “Moments like this remind us how far we’ve come and inspire us to keep striving for greater impact. We remain committed to growing responsibly, innovating in how we support students, and ensuring that every student who chooses Londonist feels they have found a second home in London.”From its humble beginnings, Londonist has evolved into one of the UK’s most dynamic providers of student accommodation, offering students not just a place to live but a true home in London.
This award marks a significant milestone in our journey and reaffirms our mission to support international students as they undertake one of the most pivotal transitions of their lives. We are honoured to join the select group of businesses recognised with The King’s Award and remain committed to continuing our mission of innovation, inclusivity, and excellence in the years ahead.
